Gerrard's Cross

(Paper Print or Canvas)
This print is for Gerrard's Cross, a small town towards the south of London represented by this statue of Gerrard with his shovel. It's named after the Gerrard family who in the early 17th century owned a manor here. Seen in this piece is a statue commissioned in the 1980s that the British commemorate the “Unknown Navy” – it stands for all the people, particularly men, who built the railways.
